Women’s womb cycles once were revered as sacred and powerful. Besides conceiving and giving birth to babies, dying and reborn on a regular basis, the womb could give birth to creations, visions, ideas, and messages from the Spirit world.
As a spiritual community, we often speak or hear about connecting to the Heart and living from it in order to grow and evolve and heal our relationships, but there is actually an even deeper place of connection that we can reach. Our womb. So many of us have never consciously connected with the womb, a spiritual or energy centre that exists regardless of whether or not you have a womb and whether or not your womb is fertile.
Located in the sacral chakra, the womb is our creative centre. Unfortunately, we are often disconnected from it, neglecting it, or treating it with contempt of negativity, whether from menstruation issues, menopause, or hysterectomy. We may be holding on to old fears and patterns that we inherited from our parents, or from early negative sexual experiences. In both physical and energetic ways, our wombs store emotional traumas/upsets that affect our natural cycles and digestion, not to mention the tension in our backs. Shuning our womb space damages our creative flow. When the energy is blocked, a number of physical ailments and dis-eases can manifest.
Activating your Womb and her grounding and healing feminine energy is the key to reversing this imbalance. Taking care of our bodies heals our womb, and embodies the creative cycle of receiving, transforming, creating and sharing.

Sacred Womb Massage
Recent studies revealed that the gastrointestinal tract contains all of the same neurological processes and receptors as the brain, this discovery, however is not new to holistic practitioners, who have for years believed that the health of this bowel ecosystem is the key to one’s overall health. The abdomen houses many of our vital organs, yet it is an area that receives little attention. Around the world, many cultures have recognised the importance of caring for this area of the body and have long since embraced abdominal massage as a way to support health and wellbeing.
Many of our emotions, such as fear, anger, resentment, are stored in the abdominal area, and when we experience these emotions, our muscles around the abdominal organs tighten and block the free flow of blood.
Using the sacred healing powers of touch and intuitive connection, womb massage restores natural flow & positioning of the uterus and abdominal organs, increasing and improving the delivery of blood, lymph, nerve, and chi energy throughout ones entire body.
Sacred Womb massage combines gentle but effective massage techniques applied to the womb, abdomen, lower back, and sacrum, to relieve congestion, strengthen muscles and ligaments, improve circulation and balance hormones.
Aids the body in removing old, stagnant blood and breaks down adhesions and scar tissue. The womb is massaged to encourage the uterus to find its optimal position. Uterine misalignment can contribute to painful periods, PCOS, Endometriosis, heavy or irregular menstruation, and endometriosis
After a cesarean section, this massage is helpful as it restores the proper positioning of the uterus, relieving pressure on the bladder and pelvic floor, whilst strengthening the surrounding tissues.
As we approach menopause, our ovaries are not ovulating as often as they used to, so oestrogen and progesterone levels begin to decrease. Depending on the levels of estrogen and progesterone in our bodies and the health of our adrenal glands, women can experience heavy, painful bleeds, uneven bleeds, or lighter bleeds as these hormones ebb and flow. Grief & Trauma
Many women who have experienced abuse, either physical or emotional, or who have miscarried, stillborn or gone through termination find the Sacred Womb Massage to be very beneficial, aiding in the process of healing by using the mind, body and soul to help them feel comfort and peace.
While grief is a natural process, it can affect our functioning and perception of the world around us, often resulting in a disconnected state. Working With The Chakras
The second chakra ~ Svadhisthana: The sacral chakra
This chakra represents creativity and sexuality, as well as emotion. Located above the pubis bone and just below the navel. If your sacral chakra is out of balance, you may experience physical symptoms confined to your lower abdomen, back, and reproductive and digestive organs.

what to expect in your session
Your 120-minute consultation will begin with the completion and submission of a comprehensive consultation form. We will talk about your journey, as well as any emotional aspects that may come up, followed by a full sacred womb massage.
Do not have a heavy meal within about an hour before your massage, and as with all massage do not drink alcohol beforehand.
Treatments start with a lumbar, sacral and gluteal massage, allowing you time to relax and become accustomed to my energy and touch before the abdominal massage. When massaging your abdomen, you will be receiving touch from your pubic bone up to your rib-cage and will include a beautiful blend of oil techniques, pulsing, rebozo and guided visualisations. You will be nurtured, nourished and held in a safe place to allow you to release deep-seated emotions that may be blocking your energy.
As a result, women leave feeling energised, connected to their inner womb wisdom, and aligned with their feminine power.
Drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol and heavy food for 24 hours. As with all therapies involving massage, you may experience slight tiredness or mild flu-like symptoms for up to 24 hours afterwards due to the toxin release from your body.
A Sacred Womb massage can be performed at any time however any womb work has restrictions:
Just before or during a bleed
If you have a coil fitted
If you are in your first trimester of pregnancy
Any recent abdominal surgery
If you have an infection or high temperature

Connecting To Our Womb Space
One of the direct and simplest ways to connect to our Womb space is through our breath. Place your hands on your womb, and think of your womb like a chalice cup that is literally filling with your breath. Your breath is like a golden liquid and as your womb receives your breath your womb space fills up and becomes luminous. You can let this golden liquid overflow from the chalice cup and fill your entire pelvic area.
Practicing this should make you feel very grounded and peaceful. Your thoughts begin to slow down, and you start to relax into your body, situations in life that felt complicated and overwhelming become manageable as you connect. A deep intuition surfaces within your body guiding you like a compass. Your womb space knows what she needs. Take time to listen to her.
