Our Lives Are Made of Stepping Stones

All of us experience major and minor life challenges. How we handle these struggles on a daily basis determines our physical, as well as our stepping stonesmental well-being.

Ask yourself do you easily panic and become frantic, or do you stay positive and energetic? Do you make small problems big, like mountains, or do you make big problems small, like mole hills? Will you be lost and destroyed under stress or will you have strong enough coping skills to stay in control and do the best that can be done? Will you have the resiliency to come out stronger than you ever were?

People who panic do not have full control of their mental energy. Their minds are unfocused and cloudy, and because of their confused state of mind things appear complicated and small problems seem vast. They would usually react emotionally to situations by becoming anxious, and irritable

Everything is a huge problem for negative people; they generate a huge amount of mental and physical stress, especially with anything that rocks their comfort zone. They will often make statements such as….I can’t; it’s too difficult and I don’t know how, why is this happening to me. Positive people use their creatively when a challenge arises, and face it head on, their positive attitude and outlook on how to overcome situations clarifies the challenge that is presented to them.

You need to understand that your personal challenges are in your life for a reason – to help you grow. There will be mistakes, so learn from them, there will be challenges that seem hard, face them head-on, whatever the challenges, and learn to overcome them. By not choosing to grow from them you will remain stuck in their consequences and are likely to repeat the same challenges again and again.

An attitude of positivity may not only change your perception, it will also provide many surprising health benefits. In fact published data suggests that

If we can remain fully engaged in the day at hand, enjoying all it has to offer and putting our energy into making the most of it, we will find that we are perfectly ready and capable to handle any future when it arrives.
