Art & Soul – Mindfulness & Creativity
July 5 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm£20
A workshop combining mindfulness and creativity to bring us back to this moment and connect us to our creative expression. Offering a safe space for anyone who would like to tap into their creativity from a very relaxed state of being and have a visual dialogue with themselves. An opportunity to slow down, take a pause from our busy lives and engage our senses in creative expression.
The benefits of mindfulness meditation and creative expression are many – from simply bringing ourselves back to the moment, which can be used throughout our daily lives to calm and collect ourselves so that we are more likely to act, rather than react, as being present helps us gain empathy and patience. It also can help with concentration, health and improve productivity as well as all-round well-being.
Giving ourselves permission to play and express ourselves creatively also has a huge impact as we begin to remember who we are and our purpose in life, which in turn helps us feel more confident and content. Other benefits can be: · Feeling able to cope with stress and finding creative solutions to problems.
Each workshop we will explore different mediums, such as drawing, painting, collage and mixed media, and journaling. There are no limits to creative expression. I am there to guide and support you during the session.
No experience is necessary, you are welcome to attend if you are a beginner, or more experienced. These workshops are suitable for all levels of experience as participants are guided to paint intuitively and it is all about letting go, being present and having fun… and allowing amazing things to happen.
